When I tell people about How To Win Hide and Seek, they often share a memory from their own games. Recently, Jeff at my hosting provider saw my pages and asked me: “Can I tell you a story?” Well, I’m not one to turn that offer down…

When Jeff played hide and seek with his older cousins, they coordinated a prank wherein, when it was Jeff’s turn to count, they all ran away to their nearby homes and left him looking for them, with no luck. The poor kid looked and looked until his mother and aunts figured out what had happened, and then his cousins were all in trouble. Today they all laugh about it and he’s going to send them this book.
